About My Work My collection brings together a range of handcrafted pieces, each created with care, creativity, and a passion for individuality. From jewellery to textile art and photographic cards, every item is designed to be both beautiful and unique. My resin jewellery is truly one of a kind. The fluid nature of resin means that colours and patterns naturally shift and evolve during the creation process. Factors such as temperature, resin consistency, and the way pigments and inks are applied all influence the final result—ensuring that no two pieces are ever exactly the same. My Polymer clay jewellery pieces offer a lightweight yet durable alternative, perfect for everyday wear. With endless possibilities for colour combinations and patterns, each design is distinctive, expressive, and carefully crafted. Fabric photo art combines photography with textile techniques. I print my original photographs onto satin fabric, which is then quilted and enhanced with freehand machine stitching. This detailed process creates a striking three-dimensional effect, bringing depth and texture to each image. Every piece takes many hours to complete, making it both unique and truly special. Photo cards I also create photo cards using my own photography, printed onto high-quality, fade-resistant paper and mounted on premium cardstock. Left blank inside, they can be personalised for any occasion—whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, condolence, or Christmas. Designed to be more than just a card, they can also be framed and kept as a lasting keepsake. Sea Pottery & Sea Glass Jewellery My jewellery made from sea pottery and sea glass celebrates the natural beauty shaped by the sea over many years. Each piece has been tumbled by ocean waves crashing against rocks and rolled through sand, sometimes over hundreds of years, before being discovered and transformed into wearable art. Every fragment is completely unique in shape, colour, and texture. The frosted finish of sea glass and the smooth, weathered surface of sea pottery give each piece its own individual character, ensuring that no two items—or even pairs of earrings—will ever be exactly the same. It is this natural variation and imperfection that creates their beauty, making each piece truly one of a kind. Beachcombing Pictures My beachcombing pictures are an eclectic collection of natural and found objects gathered along the beach and river foreshore. Most items are collected locally, while others come from my travels, each adding its own story and character to the work. I incorporate a wide variety of materials, including shells, dried seaweed, driftwood, and even pieces of discarded plastic and other shoreline debris. This reflects the true diversity of what can be found along the coast and highlights both the beauty and fragility of our environment. I find beauty in every object I collect, and it takes many hours to carefully arrange each composition. No two pieces are ever the same, as each one is shaped by the ever-changing nature of the shoreline and the materials it provides. Seaweed Pictures The method of collecting, drying, and mounting seaweed has been practiced for hundreds of years. This traditional technique preserves the delicate beauty of marine botanicals, capturing their intricate forms and natural elegance. There is an incredible diversity within seaweed species, meaning no two pieces are ever the same. I find beauty in all varieties, from soft, wispy pinks to bold, deep black forms, each offering its own unique texture and character. These natural variations create striking compositions that work beautifully as wall art, bringing a calm, organic feel into the home and celebrating the quiet artistry of the sea.
